CHAIR - NICOLA WIGNALL
Nicola has been competing in triathlons since the late 1980s with a short break when her children were small.
She returned to triathlon when her daughter expressed an interest in trying a triathlon aged 8.
She and her family joined Ocean Lake Tri in 2011 and she has completed British Triathlon Federation Coaching courses Level 1 and 2.
She is passionate about keeping training predominantly enjoyable and inclusive.
SAFETY OFFICER - STEVE HUNTER
Steve is one of the founding members of Ocean Lake Triathlon.
He is a BTF Event Manager and has managed the OLT race events since 2012.
He is currently the Club's Safety Officer using his engineering knowledge and IOSH Certificate and Diploma to maintain our safe standards.
TREASURER - JACKIE HUNTER
As a qualified accountant Jackie is well versed in the Club financial requirements and maintains the bank account, any incoming or outgoing funds and the production of the accounts.
BTF TO for the Club and keen supporter.
EVENT TEAM MANAGER - PAUL DOE
Paul started completing triathlons in 2014 when he wanted to step up from competing in his first half marathon.
He has now completed distances up to and including his biggest achievement so far, a full Iron man distance in Vichy in 2017.
Any questions you have on events feel free to give him a shout.
MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY - RANDOLPH BURT
Randolph started in the world of triathlon in 2014 and is now completely addicted.
Randolph especially enjoys cycling - maybe because there is always a cafe stop for coffee and cake on the Sunday morning 'training' rides.
Any club enquiries via the website/email are dealt with by Randolph as well as maintaining the membership database.
ATHLETE REPRESENTATIVE - JORDAN LOCKETT
Jordan has been a member of Ocean Lake Tri since 2012 joining at the age of 14.
He has competed in many local and national races and for the last 3 years represented GB at numerous European and World championships.
If you have any ideas/comments about the club just let him know and he will raise it with the rest of the committee.

HEAD COACH - STUART HALL

Stuart is Head Coach Leybourne. Stuart Started triathlon in 2017 after deciding to change his lifestyle. In a short space of time he has gone on to represent GBR in both Middle Distance Triathlon and Duathlon, competing at the World and European championships.

To give back to the sport Stuart started to take his BTF qualifications. Having passed the level 2 BTF coaching course he actively supports the club through running the coaching programme at Leybourne. If any new or existing members have any questions about the coaching please feel free to contact him.
WELFARE OFFICER - LAURA ROBINSON
Laura has been part of Ocean Lake since her son Hamish joined the club back in 2014.
She has supported the OLT events ever since, and has recently volunteered to take on the Welfare Officer role. Any concerns should be emailed to Laura at welfare@oceanlaketri.co.uk
